The entire process/experience with Erics Tree service was top notch and worth 5 stars. The estimate was quick, the owner actually came out and looked at the trees, the office immediately provided me with a written quote as well as their insurance. All the individuals that came to my property to work were polite, clean, and respectful. They did not leave a leaf or branch out of place. I can’t believe what a great job they did on my two LARGE trees (at least 50′ close to house) Thank you to Eric’s Tree Service. I highly recommend them!

Did you know?
The invasive spongy moth, formerly called gypsy moth, was brought to North America in 1869. It was to breed with silkworms to create hardier silk-making species to help develop the silk industry in the United States. The process did not go to plan; some caterpillars escaped. Then, in 1889, the first known spongy moth defoliation was recorded in Medford, Massachusetts. Since these moths had no natural predators, they populated very quickly.
Spongy moths can pose a threat to your trees. While you may have heard about spongy moths affecting oak trees, did you know they also readily infest beech, birch, elm, and maple trees? To determine if trees in your yard are affected, look for egg masses on the trunks of your trees and on nearby structures. If you begin to notice a thinning of your tree’s canopy, these moths may be to blame. Just call Eric to schedule your free estimate today!
